Reading: THE RED FREEZER

On October 31 2019, Xiaowen Zhu will participate in a reading event organized by Literally Speaking at Lettrétage in Berlin. She will read an excerpt from her debut novella The Red Freezer, a homicidal love story inspired by a true crime in Shanghai. Literally Speaking is a fiction reading series that features the original work of Berlin. Lettrétage is the “anchor institution” of the independent literature scene in Berlin.
